When a drain has obviously collapsed, or a CCTV survey has revealed defects which require remedial works, we can advise on a number of relevant issues, including who has liability for the repair, the most likely cause (essential for insurance purposes) and the optimum remedial solution. These issues are detailed in a written quotation, supplied following a site visit.
EDS have extensive experience of all aspects of drain repair and undertake all works in accordance with the Civil Engineering Specification for the Water Industry. Reinstatement can be undertaken in any surface by experienced skilled craftsmen. Where appropriate, NO DIG solutions can be utilised, thereby minimising disruption, and often providing a more economical solution.

Any drainage system consists of pipework and chambers. Problems can often be due to defects at chambers rather than within the pipework.
In addition to pipework replacement, EDS can offer a number of solutions for repairing defective chambers, including replacement of a damaged covers, epoxy sealing of cracks, remedial works to benching, or indeed rebuilding the entire chamber.
Where drain repairs are required, an EDS Engineer will provide a written quotation, detailing the problem, the severity, likely cause and optimum solution. We are always happy to explain quotations during a follow up site visit if required.
